Million dollar view and warm hosts!

This November we’ve been a week in Marquise & Infinity Villa and it was perfect! First, let me tell you that the Villa is probably located at the best place to be in Mahe island. Not too busy, not too secluded, in front of a convenience store, at the safe and quiet Glacis area, next to a tiny, almost yours beach, 5 mins by car from Beau Vallon, the most popular Mahe beach, which is also a busier area and not too far away from diving and watersports centers. Going to the city or any other parts of the island takes between 20 and 40 mins of beautiful mountain and jungle roads. Second, the place is incredibly gorgeous. It has a million dollar view. The sunset from its balcony is amazing. It is extremely well equipped with all kitchenware you can need and lot of other useful little things like night torch, bbq, a bed in the balcony, snorkel, mask, fins, kayak, etc. It also has mosquitoes/insects net for the beds, which is very useful. Everything is in very good conditions and clean. Third, the hosts. They are such a wonderful people! We have done all the arrangements prior to our trip with Marc. The whole reservation process was great. Marc is very flexible and gave us a few options. We have even rented a Kia Picanto car from him that was in perfect conditions, a great car for Mahe terrain. Marc also passed us lot of info about Mahe before our travel so we could do some research beforehand. Then, when we arrived, apart of meeting Marc, we also met Tania, who gave us tons of amazing tips to make the most of our days in Seychelles. All her recommendations and suggestions were great, she should definitely write a book like “Seychelles for Dummies”. She also helped us with dinner reservations. Finally, we have also met Helen. She lives next door and is always there for you to help with everything you might need, checking in from time to time willing to help you.

Unforgettable days in Mahé!

Amazing location, kind hosts, very nice house and terrace. House very clean and well prepared. Marc and Helen provided us everything we needed, before we asked (e.g. life jacket and bodyboard for my wife). Mask and flippers were available for snorkeling, hammock and bed in the terrace were very comfortable. The car rental was very good and Marc even taught me how to drive on the left side! We would like to come back there!

Can’t wait to revisit!!!

Everything!!! Marc and team were super friendly and helpfull!! The villa is really beautiful, comfortable and clean! Stunning ocean view and sea entrance. Absolutely stunning for snorkeling right in front of the villa, lots and lots of fish, ray’s etc!!

Seychelles – your wife will love you again.

Two villas on the beach, on a rocky shore. Views – revelation. Much nicer in real life than in the pictures. The larger one with two bedrooms has direct access to the ocean. Smaller, has a larger terrace and more sun. Full and comfortable equipment. At night, the wind and the sound of waves make the wife start to love you again. Comfort, discretion and wonderful hosts. Holidays like in paradise.

Marc, Tania & Helen were amazing hosts and the place was magical!

Stunning sunset views. Sitting out on the deck watching the sunset with a G&T every night was amazing 🙂 The welcome coconuts and run through were a great touch. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all.

A perfect family breakaway in an unparalleled location.

A really special place where Marc clearly poured his heart into – the best location in the Seychelles – overhanging the rocks with waves crashing just below – we rented both units and both were amazing – a wonderful day bed and hammocks on the balcony – a few steps away from our own “private” beach – fish market within walking distance and a supermarket across the road – well equipped villas with kayaks, snorkeling gear, etc etc.

The villa was just amazing; it really looks like on the pictures. The beach just next to the villa is beautiful. The owner and the other staff were extremely nice and helpful! Definitely recommended

Very good!

Awesome hosts: they were welcoming, trustworthy, genuinely caring and generous, they helped us with everything: tips on where to go and what to see, left a simple phone with a local number with us should we need anything, we booked a car through them at a lower rate than normal, they went by themselves and booked for us boat tickets to Praslin (highly recommend that everyone visits Praslin, wonderful island!). The owner, Mark, dropped us by himself to the airport upon the end of our trip. Helen, who lives just across the street, was available all the time for help- such a sweet person! 2) location of the estate: the estate is literally on the shore which means wonderful views of the ocean, sound of the waves and a scenic sunset. Mahe is quite a small island and your longest trip would take 30 minutes from anywhere. 3) cozy place but also equipped with everything one would need: flash light batteries, grill for the fresh fish we got, multiple adapters for different plugs – anything you think you may need is there.

Amazing choice for anyone looking for a bit of cozy unique “living like a local” luxury, this is an incredible romantic oceanfront bungalow. I congratulated our host for his vision and will to make it construct it in recent years. Upon arrival, the bungalow immediately exceeded my expectations for the extensive calm private space it offered both outside on its terrace/patio and efficient use of space inside with areas of small kitchen, dining area with stunning sea view, living room area with stunning sea view and the bed behind it. The 1-Bed Bungalow: Our studio simplex bungalow was perched several meters above the crystal waters of the ocean and nestled among the stunning granite boulders for which the Seychelles are known. A wide wooden terrace, with big comfortable day-bed and patio-chairs, with sweeping view south across the long arc of the central beachside town of Beau Vallon and Bel Omre with the dramatic island mountains rising above. The air conditioning unit above bed was suitable and sufficient, though note that the many glass doors that wonderfully surround the living/dining areas (providing uninterrupted views of the sea!) are not air tight like a hotel room, but again the air conditioning was sufficient and good. Did I mention there is free use of 2 sea kayaks and snorkeling equipment?! And a nearly private local cove beach directly outside with stunning clear water and amazing snorkeling with beautiful fish everywhere? The Hosts: Marc, Tanya, Helen are amazing. They greeted us upon arrival with the warmth and sincerity of family. Such a genuine interest in ensuring and enabling our enjoyment. For our infant son of 9 months, they happily supplied a modern, safe and clean pack-and-play crib, exactly what we hoped for, as well as securing a friend with a car seat for our transfer from airport.

Great room with beautiful sea view balcony near Beau Vallon.

The best place we stayed during our time in the Seychelles – great private balcony with table and a bed facing the sea, spacious room and kitchen with everything you need, fresh fruits and very welcoming hosts. You can walk to beaches nearby or drive 5min into Beau Vallon where you can find a nice beach and restaurants.

PERFECT!

This villa was PERFECT!!! Marc was sooo friendly and helpful, he rent us a car, he brings us fresh coconut from the Palm, and he gives us all what we need! The Villa has a big Balkon with a perfect view and all was also beautiful Inside! The best place on Mahé!!! You don’t need anymore! Thank you Marc for all! Nice regards from Rebecca&Franz.

Even better than expected!

Excellent choice for your family holyday! The best location for snorkeling in Mahé and a really nice villa as close to the sea as possible. The nicest host(s) possible and your own personal “mum” to look after you during your stay (as helpful, caring and nice as you can get). Your own canoe and turtle pet included. Creole BBQ dinner prepared by your host is recommended. In total a dream place to stay and highly recommended!

An Indian Ocean tropical paradise beach location.

The villa was in a sublime location, we were right on the rocks over the water and we had direct access to a little essentially private beach with easy access to wonderful snorkeling and kayaking terrain. The verandah had an awesome double bed on it, and lounge furniture, and a hammock. We had palm trees with our own coconuts which we enjoyed opening and savoring. There was double parking upstairs too. The kitchen was totally ok and there were the basics for cooking too. The best thing about the experience was Helen, the lady who lived across the road and looked after us. Helen cleaned when we needed and does cook although we preferred to cook for ourselves as I am a vegan. Helen made us feel so welcome and at home. Marc was super helpful and put us in touch with all the right people and gave us invaluable advice which took all the thinking out of the holiday. The area is just out of the bust touristy part, which isn’t very busy anyway, and around the corner from the bus stop, although we hired a car. Most of the time we just stayed where we were, and when we did venture out it was like coming home to paradise when we returned home. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing stay for long lasting memory!

First, Thanks a lot for Marc and Helen for the amazing hospitality and taking care of us. Special thanks to Helen for taking care of the kids when we went to snorkeling. Marc and Helen are the best hosts ever. Now the place, It is amazing what you see in the photos, and even much more. We were in the two bedrooms villa. I went on a tour around the island and i have seen the expensive luxurious places like Maya and Banyan tree, but believe me staying in this place i do not envy anyone. This place is hidden jewel in the Seychelles. I just feel like at home. We almost had our own private beach (some people come every now and them to enjoy it, but you still feel this is your area). We spent hours snorkeling everyday, just put your gears and enjoy, there is an aquarium waiting for you when you step in the beach. When you wake up and see the beautiful mountains and the beach you realize you are in heaven. The villa is amazing with lots of well thought of details. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. They even have everything you need for barbeque. I used to buy fish everyday from fisherman next to my home and grill it at home. it was amazing and best fish i had. Marc even gave me some complementary fish, thanks Marc. I can really fill pages talking about this place, just one last thing, we went on a trip around the island, it was cool, but our place was the best. You really do not have to go anywhere, stay there and enjoy your beach and villa. Just one place i recommend to see is the Mission Lodge up the mountain, go there with some coffee and spend time thinking of this heavenly place called the Seychelles. The view is unbelievable. Marc, Helen we are definitely coming back. Thanks again for the hospitality.

Epic views!

Reality exceeded all our expectations. The villa is absolutely stunning with the best ocean view possible. It is very private and perfect for a romantic holiday. A very spacious deck with an outside bed holds everything you could ask for, the sun sets across the deck and the night sky with little light pollution is marvelous. Very comfy bed; well equipped kitchen, great shower and on top of it all a very nice and caring team with Marc, Tania and Helen. Marc even dropped us of at the ferry on our departure day, which was really nice. We also rented a car from Marc, which is a good idea considering there are not many dinner options in walking distance. The small car is great to get around the island, everything worked out perfectly on that end as well. We absolutely loved our stay and can only advise to book this villa.

Idyllic setting, your own slice of paradise!

We stayed here as a family of 5, 2 Adults and 3 young children to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary. We chose it for its idyllic setting with its own virtually private beach. We renewed our vows on the beach and Marc, Tania and Helen couldn’t have done more to help from organizing flowers (their gift to us) to helping us find a chef to cook an amazing meal. If we came again we would hire the chef to cook for us every night, it is more cost effective than eating out and the food was superb. Helen who lives nearby does all of the housekeeping and is available to help for just about anything and nothing seemed too much trouble. Marc (the owner) was on hand if anything needed sorting and he quickly put things right if anything broke. They really do go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as memorable as possible. Marc welcomed us by cutting a coconut each from the palm trees that grow in the garden. The villas location is stunning, perched upon rocks overlooking the sea and is as impressive as in the photos. We have fond memories of the amazing sunsets every evening. You can relax on the hammocks or day bed or take a swim from the beach. We also hired Marc’s car which saved us a fortune on car rental prices. He met us at the airport on arrival and took us straight to the car. If you are self catering it’s worth knowing the kitchen (although small) is well equipped and there is a large fridge and freezer. There is a nearby fish seller but it was hard to predict if and when he would be there so you may want to try the main market. There is a nearby shop (across the road) for your everyday essentials. You have to remember though that everything is flown into the island so items may seem more expensive than at home.

Heaven on earth!

Why anyone would stay anywhere else on this island…I do not know! The villa is super comfy and well maintained. The porch is the real star of the show though, with a bed out there, a hammock and beautiful patio furniture, you never want to leave. Great sunset views…it’s just magnificent. The owner and property keeper are fantastic!! If just for the personal attention to detail and great customer service we received here, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We had a minor car accident when we arrived on the island and called Mark, he totally calmed us down, explained how things worked, and even offered to come to the accident sight, and it was 9pm at night. Then when we got there, he was waiting for us, along with Helen, the property caretaker and the property manager, and he still proceeded to order us a pizza because it was late and we weren’t going to have a chance to go to dinner, and he brought it to us himself, and refused payment for it. Seriously guys, they go above and beyond for their clients…best customer service ever!! You would never get that at a hotel. He was in the process of renovating a two bedroom next door, we got a sneak peak and it too is fabulous. Our only regret is not staying longer. Thank you so much Mark and crew for all of your help and attention during our stay!

The Most Beautiful Gem!

I am a British Architect who recently stayed at this wonderful Villa. It is situated right on the beach front with the main balcony hanging over the sea. The sunset views are incredible and I felt so lucky that I had discovered such a wonderful place. What’s more you are well looked after by Helen who runs the house on a day to day basis. Nothing was too much trouble, from cooking to washing, to even calling me at 4.00am as a wake call so I wouldn’t miss my early morning flight! On top of this the owner Marc was extremely hospitable and cooked me an amazing traditional meal from the Seychelles! I also met his business partner Tania who was wonderful. I couldn’t believe that I had found the most beautiful house with the most beautiful people running it who genuinely care about you. This place is a real true gem. I’m already booking it for next year and I can’t wait to go back every year for the rest of my life.

Could not be more perfect

We spent 6 nights at the end of our 2 week Seychelles holiday….talk about saving the best for last!!! From the photos and the price I expected a much bigger place but believe me it is worth every penny and the house itself is a wonderful stone and wood Seychelles house with real palm leaf roof and ceilings. You are literally living on the rocks with a staircase to the cutest swimming beach. Snorkeling right at the beach and around the rocks is amazing….Marc, Tanya and Helen are always within reach, welcoming and helpful…..perfect hosts. The two bedrooms and wonderful bathroom upstairs are fantastic…we slept every night with our glass doors open so as not to miss the sound of the waves. The Kitchen is professionally equipped, so much so that my husband, who is a chef, could find everything he needed….he was impressed. The lounge is cozy with all the satellite channels you might need. However, you will spend most of your time on the fantastic terrace, from which you can fish. Right across the road is a supermarket which stocks everything you need, including gorgonzola cheese, salami and parma ham. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay at your beautiful house.

The place to be in Mahe!

This is the place to be on Mahe! Best ever! We had the great pleasure staying at this place for 9 days and are still speechless about the unbelievable and breathtaking view from the balcony / terrace and great service and kindness we received during our stay! The villa / apartment is situated right on the waterfront of the ocean, next to massive and impressive granite rocks. Just beautiful! The view from the terrace and balcony is just breathtaking and stunning! We actually spent most of our time on the balcony, which is furnished with nice outdoor furniture and a “chill out” bed. You just did not want to leave this place at any time and just wanted to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. The apartment / villa is modern, spacious, very clean and with a fully equipped kitchen, including a big fridge, microwave oven and anything you may need. The dining and living area is big and it includes also a flat TV, which however you actually do not need, as sitting outside and watching the waves and ocean is by far better than TV. Less than two minutes walk from the villa / apartment is a small, almost “private”, beach where you can adventure the water world by snorkeling or swimming. Across the place is a store, where you can get your daily needs such as food, wine, and anything you may need. Also in short walking distance is a bus stop, which takes you to Beau Vallon or even to Victoria. The host and his team are just incredible! They are so supportive, kind, friendly with always a smile in the face! While staying at his place, we got married during the time and the wedding has just become a dream come true, thanks to their fantastic support and organization! We almost felt embarrassed by their kindness and incredible support! Thanks again for all this! An unforgettable time! If anyone stays on Mahe, this is the place you want to enjoy, as there is for us no better place to stay in Mahe! We are missing it already and will come back as soon as possible!

Wonderful

What a great place. The situation is fantastic and the property is lovely. On top of that Marc, the owner couldn’t do more to be helpful. He is a lovely, kind and considerate person who went out of his way to make our holiday great. The property is well appointed and what made it so special for us was the balcony, where you looked out over the sea, could watch the crabs and mud skippers just below, feed the fish and watch fabulous sunsets. We swam and snorkeled from the little beach, literally 2 minutes walk away. Whilst snorkeling we saw a great variety of sea life including turtles. The place is just 10 minutes drive to Beau Vallon where there are restaurants. However having found the fishermen who sell their catches at the roadside, we mainly ate Red Snapper in the villa, which was wonderful. I definitely recommend this villa.

Overwhelming!

We recently came back from our 5 day stay at the Infinity Villa in Glacis and are absolutely in love with the place and the hosts! We were in contact with Marc before arriving in the Seychelles as we were organizing our stay as well as our wedding on the beach there. I must say he was extremely helpful and helped us with the bookings, car rentals, transports etc. before we even arrived. The day we arrived Marc and Helen (the lovely lady we takes care of the villa) greeted us at the house, Helen even prepared us some lovely breakfast and greatly needed coffee. From the very beginning we felt so welcome and comfortable as though we arrived at home (just with a much better view). Marc run as through our stay gave us all the information, tips and recommendations and made sure we would have the best possible stay. When it came to planning our wedding at the beach both Marc and Helen were so helpful and attentive, they even involved their friends to help organize it. They went out of their way to decorate the event and after organized a beautiful dinner for us at the villa. We even got a wedding cake! They were an absolute pleasure to have there on our wedding day, taking pictures and filming and making sure we have a beautiful day. I have never met anyone who has been so helpful and kind to strangers 🙂 Throughout the stay they constantly checked on us and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Marc even went out of his way to find my husband some tropical fruit he wanted to try. Helen was just a joy to have around and we would have gladly taken her back home with us! Just as an example we were looking for a little souvenir from the Seychelles and when I mentioned it to her the next day we had a little surprise present waiting for us at home, a little turtle ashtray. I could literally go on and on about all the wonderful things they did for us. So enough about that and here some info about the actual place. The villa has the most amazing terrace literally over the sea with a bed and hammock. The views are just breathtaking and spending the evenings there was probably our favorite part. The little beach by the villa is gorgeous and usually pretty empty, so you might say you have a private beach to yourselves! The villa has a bathroom, dining area, sleeping area, lounge area and bathroom. Everything well equipped, well kept and clean, it was more than enough space for both of us. There’s a little shop on the other side of the road, bus stop is a 2minute walk away and there’s a take away maybe 4min walk, so you have everything you need just by. I recommend this place with all my heart to anyone and everyone. I have travelled a lot and have stayed in many places but Infinity Villa will be one of the most memorable. It is a stunning place, with an amazing feel of the Seychelles but most importantly the people running it are absolute angels! I don’t think there are better hosts out there! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories and becoming our Seychelloise family! We will be back!
